Rui Emanuel Ferreira da Silva

I am currently working at the ICMM-CSIC as a "la Caixa" Junior Leader fellow.

In my PhD, I have done research on the field of Strong Field Physics, in particular, I was focused in strong field phenomena (photoionization and high harmonic generation) in diatomic molecules. More recently, I am interested in the process of high harmonic generation in solid targets and how electron-electron correlation affects this process.

My research interests are in the areas of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics, Condensed Matter Physics and Computational Physics.
